What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They let the site remember information about your visit — for example, that you are signed in, or which preferences you have set.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
These are essential for the wizard to work. We cannot turn them off and you cannot reject them.
- fdw_token (localStorage) — keeps you signed in. Cleared on logout.
- Session storage — temporary state for the wizard, cleared when you close the tab.
- Stripe Checkout — Stripe sets its own session cookies during the payment flow. See Stripe's cookie policy.
Preferences (optional, anonymous)
- fdw_cookie_consent (localStorage) — remembers your choice on this banner so we don't ask again.
Analytics (optional, off by default)
Loaded only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. We use:
- Google Analytics 4 — page-level traffic and conversion measurement. We anonymise IP addresses and do not enable Google's advertising features.
Marketing
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies.
Managing your preferences
When you first visit the site, a banner asks whether to load analytics cookies. You can change your mind at any time by clicking Manage cookies in the footer.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from using the wizard.
